Terms & Conditions

These terms are an agreement between you and Beat Ageism ("we", "us"), the seller of the Beat Ageism service. By creating an account or continuing to use the service, you agree to these terms.

The service

Beat Ageism is an online toolkit that uses AI to help job seekers rewrite their resume / CV, check job adverts for age-biased language and prepare interview answers. Membership costs $20 per month and allows up to 15 uses a day across all tools.

Payments and our reseller

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, renewal, tax, cancellation and refund terms are set out in Paddle's Buyer Terms. Memberships renew monthly until cancelled; if you cancel you keep access until the end of the month you've paid for.

Your account

• You must be of legal age to enter a contract and give accurate information.
• Keep your login details private; you're responsible for activity on your account.

Acceptable use

You must not:

• use the service for anything unlawful, fraudulent or for spam;
• infringe anyone's intellectual property or upload content you don't have rights to;
• interfere with security, introduce malware, probe, scrape or overload the service;
• try to get around usage limits, jailbreak the AI, or use it to create hateful, deceptive or harmful content;
• resell, redistribute or reverse engineer the service.

Your content and AI outputs

You keep ownership of the text you paste in and of the outputs created for you. You give us a limited licence to process your content only to provide the service. You are responsible for what you submit, for checking outputs are accurate, and for how you use them. AI outputs can be wrong or incomplete. Everything we provide is coaching, not legal, financial or other professional advice. If you believe content infringes your rights, email Fldlyhappy@gmail.com and we'll investigate. We may remove content, refuse outputs or suspend accounts that break these terms; repeat infringers will be removed.

Our intellectual property

We own the service, including its software, design, written content and branding.

Availability

We work to keep the service running but don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent allowed by law, the service is provided "as is" without implied warranties.

Liability

To the extent allowed by law, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before a claim, and we aren't liable for indirect losses such as lost profits, data or opportunities. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law doesn't allow it.

Suspension and ending

We may suspend or end access for serious or repeated breaches of these terms, non-payment, or security or fraud risks. You can delete your account at any time from your Account page; your saved work is then deleted.
